How do illegal immigrants pay into the system with no social security numbers?

they don't....BUT - they get all the foodstamps and medicare they want because - oh poor them, they came here illegally and broke the rules, but we don't want to make them be honest and respectable and follow the rules, we want to coddle them and give them whatever they want while LEGAL honest citizens who have been here their whole life can't get jack, jack! That's what. If their situation is so bad, there is such a thing as 'emergency asylum' and etc. Also, most of the ones raising the biggest stink have tatoos and are part of "La M", mexican moffia or some other gang, and their country doesn't want them back either. BESIDES, if they don't like our rules, and they like their own rules better, why'd they come here? If they want to make this country into another version of the way things were back home, why don't they just go home?

THEY DO. Illegal immigrants may work with fake social security numbers--pay into the system, but have no way to collect what they have paid in years later. It's actually a falacy that they don't pay in. It's another bonus to the American people.

The IRS does not care if they have a Social Security #. They are issued a tax i d number instead. The irs will take your money whether you are legal or not.

They support themselves - buying food, shelter, maybe some clothes (etc.?) - while here in the country -- and, presumably are paid lower wages. HOWEVER, that may mean that, because they are paid "under the table", their employers do not pay taxes, medicare/medicaid, workers comp, and so forth***... In reality, they could actually receive more "take home" pay and the employers would still LOVE to hire and keep them. (They work at their own risk, essentially.)

A legal person (with SS#) would receive [say] $300 per week (gross) in pay. HOWEVER, $85 is taken out in income taxes, medicare/medicaid, workers compensation, etc. The Legal "takes home" $215.

An Illegal (with no SS#) might make a deal with an employer to work for $250 (gross) per week (paid "under the table"). The employer does not take out any taxes, medicare/medicaid, worker's comp, ETC. from the illegal's CASH payment; the employer DOES NOT MATCH any funds paid (to the government) into social security, medicare, etc.; he does not have to pay a bookkeeper to figure the pay & write checks to the illegal, nor does he use up paper supplies.

It might cost the employer $360 per week to have that Legal working - this includes the total (gross) amount of pay [$300], the funds that the employer MUST MATCH (to the government) [? $50], and bookkeeping expenses [$10].

It costs the employer $250 to have the Illegal, but $360 to keep the Legal - and say they are doing the same job! On it's face, it looks as though the Illegal is receivng lower wages, but he is "taking home" more than the legal. (And, he is sending a lot of it out of the country.)

The Illegal does NOT pay into the system (except for supporting grocery stores, landlords, etc., and whatever taxes he might pay in doing so.), NOR does he take out of the system. ... except for food stamps or whatever they can swindle.... ????

Thier story is highly misleading because it does not itemize the fact that a family of four paying SS taxes and other related taxes like sales tax actually consume $55,000 of Social Services(immigrationreform.org... over and beyond the tax the do pay.

Let's see 12 million illegals times 55,000 equals 600 billion in the red.

This does not include maternity and health care that they steal by using emergency rooms as their family doctor.

I saw that on the news they were using an individual taxpayer identification number. That is not what they were established for but it is an avenue to pay taxes. Many people fake social security numbers. But there are tons of links to info. Just look up Individual taxpayer identification number. Links below :)
