it helps the economy because it is a change in the cost of production. this causes the supply curve of the AS-AD model to shift outwards...causing more real output. This makes the real GDP of the US go up...but i agree we shouldn't have illegal ppl working in the us.

It seems that it's not a matter of turning them in, but a matter of the Feds not enforcing immigration laws. You can report them to the INS, but whether or not they will crack down is out of your hands.

Look in phone book under Immigration. Also, call local police and they will investigate.

Not much you can do. The government rarely raids employers, most of the raids are for show to say they are doing something. Its likely thousands of employers are turned in every year but fewer than 100 raids. Also most illegals have fake documents like a fake social security card and drivers license. So the employer can just say their documents looked real and not be penalized.

It is impossible. If you go to the police they will direct you to the INS. The INS will not answer the phone. If you go there in person, they will not write a report. They will not investigate, they will not do anything. Why do you think there are so many here?

No employer has the duty to control immigration. That is the governments job. If the government had done its job the illegal would not be there to be hired. I agree that they are taking advantage of the situation.
