How can an illegal immigrant pay taxes? Why would they want to? The facts are still there, that the majority of illegal immigrants do NOT pay taxes. Furthermore, they take advantage of government programs that are intended for legal citizens, further contributing to their burden on the American tax payer.

Anyone who does not pay taxes is WRONG. I don't care if they are legal or illegal. But the fact is, still, that illegal immigrants are here ILLEGALLY. I don't know how much clearer it could be.

If my neighbor murdered someone, does that make it suddenly OK for me to do it to? I don't see the logic in that.

Boy I wish I could get all that information when I was on workers comp for back surgery. I would have made a killing. Imagine how much more I could have made then the $213. a week I got. Did your source tell you how to do these under the table jobs when the insurance company tells you they will have spy's watching you at all times.Boy what a fool I was to follow the rules.

I love all these people saying that illegals do not pay taxes, kind of like they know what they are talking about..funny huh? I know for a fact that most of them DO pay taxes, most of them do get paid with checks not personal checks but payroll..go to your local wal-mart and you will see them all there cashing these checks, it's not hard. They require very little information if any at all. That is where the fake social security number comes in. The system only checks the social number if there happens to be a problem with the check and as usual there isn't.

They should be focusing on the companies..such as Wal-Mart and even small businesses and punish them for committing crimes. They should also making the process of becoming a legal citizen more relevant to the situation, by all means do background checks and all the security precautions but is it really necessary to ask them history questions about the U.S? Why must these innocent people kiss our *** just to live a life they as human beings have every right to, just as much as anyone else. Ridiculous, you all are freaking ridiculous.

Anyone who breaks the law is subject to the consequences. Consequences for Americans are more likely to include jail and unlikely to include deportation.

Many here would say it's ok if those people are citizens, but if that is one of their biggest gripe about immigrants "they get paid in cash and don't pay taxes" then they should be against ANYONE getting paid in cash and not paying taxes.

First, where did you get your statistics. 2nd, illegal immigrants don't pay taxes, they don't have social security numbers if they are illegal unless they stole them, and that isn't right either. I think paying someone under the table is wrong, BUT I also think that the government puts so many tax requirements on small business's that some are forced to pay under the table to stay alive. I mean you have to pay social security, small business tax, income tax, Workman's comp, and a bunch of other things. It can be hard on a small business. So maybe the government should look at that and give business's a break when paying their employees so that less companies will be forced to pay under the table or forced to use illegal immigrants.

This is wrong and when these people are caught, they are fined, and many time imprisoned. It is not as easy as quit your job or we cut off your welfare. When legal citizens are caught cheating on their taxes, the IRS (which can track you when you use a real social security number) get what they consider theirs one way or another. This of course only applies to legal citizens. Illegal immigrants just leave the country for a few days then are right back breaking the law again (as a country we only save a few days of cheese).

Taxes are not deducted if a illegal immigrant is paid â€œunder the tableâ€ as you say.

I am sorry, but where did you get these statistics....eight out of ten AMERICANS?...interesting...i had not heard that......well, there is nothing i can personally do about that...it's their EMPLOYERS that are paying them,....because of taxes...the employer is doing that....i don' t know how it can be stopped...sorry! sometimes there are ways around the system...oh boy!!!

those are two questions. everyone should have the right to work and get paid any way they choose in a free country. people recieving government benefits dishonestly is just that, dishonest. the whole idea of illegal immigrants in the U.S. is truly an oxymoron. the founding fathers of the U.S. would be appalled at the government running things today, it is no longer of the people but rather the almighty dollar................................

You are right, we have every right to steel for the American public. We may not have earned the right to use their social benefits, but we sure are going to burn them up.

I mean really, do they really think we care if their kids get a education, or their elderly are able to retire at 75. Americans are such a joke, they think the rest of the world have some moral fiber like them, well they have 20 million of us Mexicans to show them different.
