I THINK IT'S ABSOLUTELY INSANE! I am a legal citizen, worked my butt off during college and high school, made good grades, and could not get a penny of financial aid! I had to take at loans from a bank at 16 freakin percent! It makes me so upset on subjects like this. I'm 25 and just got my COMMUNITY COLLEGE paid off!!! They claimed I made too much money to get aid. I was making 7$ and hour!!! How can I live off that! |

My feelings about ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS receiving ANY kind of assistance is the SAME on all COUNTS.....

**THEY SHOULD NOT RECEIVE ANY HELP OR ASSISTANCE FROM ANYTHING.... rather it be for SCHOOL, FOOD STAMPS, HOUSING, MEDICAL, FREE LUNCH, SCHOOL Assistance or ANYTHING ELSE...he!! they shouldnt even get TOYS FOR TOTS.....They are ILLEGAL.....
**If you are ILLEGAL you should NOT be allowed to get a PENNY... we have ENOUGH CITIZENS WHO NEED HELP without giving AWAY what little resources we have to ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS...take care of HOME first... HOME FIRST

I dont agree with it at all.
If we give illegals the same treatment as we give our citizens .... what is the purpose of even having people from other countries come over here legally? Plus (well, at least at the public school I worked at) a lot of the illegals can't speak English. What college are they going to go to? AND Higher Education is a privilege. I dont think everyone is meant to go to college. Some people are probably better off just going to vocational school (they'll probably make a lot more money too! I know some of my college friends that make less than a mechanic/electrician).
I only want my tax dollars going to deporting illegals. THATS IT. |

I think it is disgusting. We let the lawbreakers come here illegally, provide them with health care, housing, welfare, schooling and college funding. I think it sends a bad message to those who have come here legally and follow the law and also to the American citizens who are trying to make ends meet yet having to pay for all of these expenses which shouldn't be permitted in the first place. I am sick and tired of those in power who are looking the other way while the laws are being broken and the money is being spent on people who continue to break the law. When will we have the backbone to put an end to this nonsense!! (I am certain it won't happen as long as the bleeding heart liberals are in charge. They allow the illegals to get driver's licenses and to vote in some areas. How insane is that??) |

"Sharing with you the American dream"....right. I don't usually have the American dream shared with me by supporting someone who shouldn't even be here in the first place. Illegals are a big reason for our economic problems. They don't pay taxes, and try to reap as many benefits from the system as possible. Health and auto insurance cost so much because, in addition to the Americans who don't have it, there are about 20 million Illegals getting into wrecks and giving birth everyday. You get to pay for it! Now, they would like you to pay for their college too! This is great! |

Absolutely not!!! Well how about yes, but when they show up to fill out the application, we arrest them and send them back to their home country.
Let them go through the proper channels, fill out the proper paperwork, and apply for citizenship. Then give them help. |

Illegals are criminals.....law violators and employers who hire them should pay a $25,000 fine for each one found in their employ plus managers and owners should serve one year in jail for each illegal in their employ.
Obvioulsy since they are illegal, they should be deported and their children should not ...I repeat,...not get american tax payer money for things like going to college.

Dont know your particulars:
I'm from the U.K. and have seen minority groups from the European Union infiltrate and manipulate basic community servces that my parents/grandparents would not have exercised had they been available.
Respect your indignation.
P.S. Given that the we have all been 'sold down the river' (Dutch M.P. Refused entry to Britain) - Is there any chance of a Green Card Application?? - Mother/ sister have been out in Tennillle G.a for 20 odd years.

The key word here is "illegal". I'm all for bettering yourself, but we have laws for a reason. Why even have a law or a border if it's not enforced? There is no other country on the planet where you can enter illegally and get the type of services and standard of living you do in America. Until Americans crack down on the free services provided to illegal immigrants, the people who are here legally and paying taxes are going to be footing the bill for those who choose not to obey the law. Why not apply for citizenship and THEN get financial aid? |

My friend was turn down for college financial due to him having asthma growing up and not having to register for the military. They told him he had to show proof that he had it from age 3 years old. And these illegals get to come on in for free and get to ride high. WTF |

Financial aid for non-citizens is a joke. A friend of mine is an illegal immigrant and she got more financial than me (a U.S. citizen), it makes me sick. I also have a 3.54 GPA to her 2.2 GPA, im gonna vomit. This country needs to get it's priorities straight. (she got over 3500$ more than me in grants) Puke.... Puke..... |
