how did the gum immigrate to your hair....I take it you want it out so it apparently illegally immigrated there....then the dandruff is probably in a uproar because the gums all waving its wrapper from Wrigley's expecting everyone to start smelling like mint................OK what did this question have to do with immigration again? |

Scissors is easiest.
Try rubbing alcohol if you can avoid your eyes. |

I've heard that about the ice too. It hardens the gum and makes it easier to get out. |

If you can, make a hair sandwich with two ice cubes and the gum-laden hair in between them. Squeeze them together for a few minutes to let the gum chill and get hard. Once that happens, you will be able to chip and flake most of the gum off. If you're lucky, it will all come off. If you're not, get out the scissors.
If the hair is long and the afflicted part of the hair is well away from the face, neck and skin, you could try removing the last stubborn bits with a solvent, but don't do it if the hair is short.
Good luck with it. |

If you have a little sister you could lay down and let her chew it out of your hair....
other than that use a couple of ice cubes to get the gum as cold as you can get it and then pick it out of your hair a piece at a time... |

Peanut butter or mayonaise. Ice is supposed to help. The easiest way is to just cut it out. |

Peanut butter. The oils from that can take out all sorts of nasty and sticky things. After the stuff has been worked out of your hair, then wash it with normal shampoo to get the peanut butter out. |

put peanut butter on it & let it sit b4 using a comb to comb it out... or use ise on it to harden the gum |

try freezing it solid, then break it into pieces. Try using not ice, but a can of cold spray- like the stuff used on sprains at athletic meetings. Any apothecary should have some, and it's much colder than ice |
