there are various ways to qualify for a green card, but simply being a student isn't one of them. so, how long it takes would depend on what route you take. for example, if you were to get an employer to sponsor you for an H1b visa, you could eventually be sponsored for a green card, through your company filing an E-3 petition for you, but that alone could take 4 or 5 years from the time it's filed. If you married an American, it would take perhaps a year or two to get a green card. |

If you are married to a US citizen, why have they not applied for your adjustment of status 2 years ago. You would have had your green card already. You two need to see an immigration consultant ASAP. |
