The work permit is processed by the National Benefits Center and the green card is processed by a Service Center Office of USCIS.Since they are processed separately they also have different processing time.It will depend on the Service Center that processes your green card how soon you will get an interview or an approval. |

same thing here (waiting for EAD) they send me the thing to take my biometrics on 5th may, hopefully it doesnt take that long, u can go on theyr site www.USCIS.gov and check how many applications they have and how long it takes, u have to type in your receip number and u can sign uo for email allerts too ! |
