How long time can I stay abroad of united state if I am green card holder?

I am wife of active duty army soldier and he is enlisted overseas to Germany. I and my kids planning to go with my husband to army base in Germany. I am green card holder, how long time can I stay out USA and If that affect my naturalization process because I am not physical residency in the state. I hope to find good answer on my question

One year unless you get permission from the USCIS to extend that period. Check into a re-entry permit (I-131) and get an approval before you leave.

As you're going to be living on an army base, technically it is considered US soil.

I would get your husband to talk to JAG or call the USCIS to clarify, but I doubt you'll have any problems.
