How long would it take to get a visitor visa for my husband?

My husband is will get a green card and come here but it will take a long time for him to get it, like a year or more. So how can i get him a visitor visa so he can come see me sooner. and how long would it take?

The way it worked for my son-in-law is that he applied for his green card, I paid an attorney $2500 to do all the paperwork so everything would be legal, he came in to the US, he couldn't work. He had to wait a year for his green card/work permit, pay a bunch of fees for a South Carolina driver's license, which he had to do every year for 4 years. All done following every INS rule because if you didn't, deportation is 12 years. And, all of this was for a charming Englishman. And, for my daughter-in-law from Mexico, it was more expensive, more interviews, more requirements if one was following the US government rules, rather than sneaking across the border like 50 million + have done. So, I would say, you can't get a visitor visa for your husband without a long, tedious process and delays. |
