First I wont be rude like some.
I do believe this can happen, as I have been to doctors on military posts who can hardly speak english and they get mad when ask them to repeat what they said.
As I too have a child in school I've evn met a few teachers who speak so fast I've had to ask them to slow down so I could understand what they said and they too get POED.
They look at you like your a moron.

I can image how frustrating that would be, you can't even go to a fast food place without repeating yourself or asking them to repeat themselves. Almost every where you go any more.
And getting a job anymore is almost impossible unless your bi-lingual. Why is it that we have to learn their language to work in our own country?

I agree, if you can't speak a language, you should not be teaching it! Except Latin, of course. I made it my business to know who was teaching my son and I attended PTA and all of the things necessary to keep an eye on my child's education. I was a room mother and a chaperone on field trips,etc. It's necessary to know what's going on, especailly these days!

Considering that you misspelled conference and your poor grammar, I suppose it's not that hard to believe. I'd be cautious as to making judgments until your spelling and grammar improve. At a minimum use spell check it may help you in the future.

English class has very little to do with "speaking english" anyway. It includes reading books, writing samples, grammar rules, etc.

Well ave just looked over some ans but am puzzled by both some are for it some seem to be against it, Question should have being is it ok to have a foreigner as an English teacher for some, My Quo to the Dad is was it English you were against or the accent behind it Just to let you know to be a teacher you have to have at least a BS in such criteria so please don't be so quick to judge just because the teacher had an accent. Trust your School district and if you have issues raise it with people concerned that's why we have PAT Parents Teachers Associations.

You should spend some time researching on how to make things better, instead of putting people down for their abilities. No Americans want to fill their jobs, and thats when i ask my self, where are the millions of Americans who say they don't need immigrants to fill certain jobs.

Nairo Gal, Blame your Immigration Officers and tell them to get rid off with foreigners workers and you take all the responsibilities in Hospitals and School by yourself only. (I went in Nursing and Hospital for Old people. I wouldn't take their position's. I rather be a landscaper or ulity than to be a nurse do not care of cheap salary.
