The best thing to do is call your unemployment center and get it directly from them. I live on the east coast and I have had 2 extensions so far. I had my regular 26 weeks from the state, then I had a 13 week and 7 week after that which was from uncle sam.
I am still out of work to like thousands of others and hope a 3rd extension happens. I have seen on other websites that a 3rd one maybe in the works because theres still so many people out of work.
I even called my unemployment center and at first I was told no then they said maybe and to keep calling in until some facts were given, they also told me to keep filing my weekly claim, so maybe they know something?Theres a lot of info on the web and it's confusing because a lot say yes and others say no.
So I am just going to keep calling the unemployment place until I know for sure. One person on yahoo answers told me he is already getting a 3rd extension but I think he is confused or either pulling my leg because I have not heard anything yet. |
