How many have sympathy for ILLEGAL ALIENS who are trying to make a living?

Do you think the United States has ever "waited in line" to make a better living? We have a long history of intervening in other countries, much to the expense of many people living there, in order to further our own interests. What makes us so entitled? Do you have any idea what kind of impact our political and economic agenda has had in Latin America?

Americans don't even recognize that they are talking out of both sides of their mouth......they want to blame everything bad in their life on illegal immigrants, but they sure love those cheap prices at Walmart. People who think the elimination of illegal immigrants is somehow going to deliver all of these available jobs with higher wages are living in La-La Land.

In the early 1900s, immigrants came here, learned the language, respected the US, got jobs, and mostly tried to obey our laws.

Today, immigrants come here, live here 20+ years without learning the language, go on welfare and food stamps (DEMANDING that our government forms be printed in their language), fly their national flags and disrespect ours, ask that their flags be shown above our own for their children, steal what they want, and so on.
LEGAL immigrants that I have had to supervise at work have refused to do any work, and many ILLEGAL immigrants became abusive when I asked for their green cards. I lost a good job when a woman who spoke no English handed me a social security card that said on the face "Not valid for employment without INS authorization"...I asked her politely for a green card, and she was offended, so she told my boss that I made advances on her.

So...do I have sympathy for them? No. They can get farm jobs in their own countries, or they can wait to enter the US legally. The US gives a lot of money to foreign countries for humanitarian reasons, and we give a lot of food to those countries. We shouldn't have to support them here, too.

I certainly have sympathy and empathy for those who wish to make a living... however, I don't endorse their entering THIS nation illegally and driving wages down !!

My wife is in her 2nd YEAR of processing the paperwork to enter this country legally... I'm tired of waiting and am leaving the USA.

I have no sympathy for them. They put there hand out when I'm walking down the road and say whitey give me some money please.

My ancestors came here legally so I dont see why they cant. People are doing the right thing by coming here legally and filling out the proper papers and are getting screwed because these illegals just jump the fence.

I remember going through customs in Chicago on my way home from the Dominican. I'm standing there and the cuistoms agent was like sir this is all fake so please turn around and wait over there because your going to get deported and all the citizens were like thank you for doing your job. Tell them all to go back to there country.

I understand that they have had hard times and need to be able to live, i feel sympathy for them, but they need to come in and do it the legal way. Its not fair to the rest of the citizens that they can come in and get better benefits for breaking the law. We all are having hard times.

Have you ever seen a room full of people driven by fear, attempt to evacuate a room that is burning?

The fear and panic causes all the pile up in front of the door and EVERYBODY dies!
In the opposite, an orderly, single file retreat get EVERYONE out alive!

This is the difference between Legal (orderly) Immigration and Illegal (panic)Immigration.

I don't want my country or my life extinguished by uneducated, selfish for their own benefits, ignoranat and unaware people coming into my country to foul OUR WORLD.

Once inducted properly, they are welcomed. But let's face it, there IS a limit to how many we can take even with orderly pacing. I personally think we take too many in NOW. But what do I know?

Better that the US does something to HELP those people in their own country, than to allow them to come here and lous it up for everyone ..including them.

Let's get this problem, question in CONTROL and start birth control measures, food programs, water assists, medical help and so on to aid others.
The world of poverty can't come and sit in my lap without me screaming bloody murder and tryin to stop it.

Educate and assist is all we can do for these people ...in their own country.

i don't, i think they should all be sent back, and all the kids they had while over here, their U.S. citizenship should be null and void and sent back with their folks of course.....

if you can't come here legally, don't come at all.......

Do I sympathize? Yes, I am sure they are doing what they think they have to for a better life.

Does that make it ok to enter illegally? No, not in any way

First, it is not fair to those who have obeyed the laws and followed the rules that person X gets to stay and live free over person Y because person Y followed the rules

Second, Those rules are in place for a VERY good reason such as medical epidemic reasons, ecology protection, etc. What if one of those illegals that jumps the border has Ebola and starts a huge medical issue and thousands die? What if your own family dies because of a disease brought in by an illegal, is that ok because they are looking for a better life? Would you accept that these deaths are alright and acceptable because that person did not want to wait?

Third, One country cannot house all of humanity. Not a judgement just a fact that people need to wake up and accept....so this "Oh everyone who wants to live here can because we will all just dream up new housing+infrastructure with our happy thoughts" is nothing more than a rejection of reality that equates to suicide.

Fourth, Illegal aliens are a primary factor in Identity theft.

Fifth, Every country has immigration laws, why is it only the USA that has to ignore them? That is known as discrimination.

Sixth, if I was in the place of the illegal would I do the same thing? Maybe, but let's say yes I would.....does that make it right? No, not at all. If I am hungry is it ok for me to break into your house and take food? If I am homeless can I break into your home and take up residence? I am only looking for a better life after all.

Seven, illegals ARE illegal so cannot go to the authorities for help with labor violations and work ethic violations. They make less than minimum wage because they cannot complain to anyone.

Eight, the trade of sneaking illegals across border kills so many people per year that is should be considered a war crime. This is because it is a blackmarket and it is cheaper to kill the illegals than be caught. It also encourages blackmail, slavery, and flat out fraud that may or may not lead to death.

So overall, while we should probably revamp our whole process so that people do not enter illegally...it doesn;t change the fact that it is still illegal, it is well known, and people violate that law....so sorry but as long as we put up with it we encourage more ruined lives, more violence, more crime, more problems.

I have sympathy for them, because I am one of them. I have been here for 22 years of my life, I am only 23. I don't do anything illegal and work for my money. I don't steal to get anything I want or need. I'm one of those with morals and brains! I don't care much for those who are dedicated to destruction and hate though. No matter where you came from or didn't come from.

Things are different here now. Unfortunately, there is a line that should not be crossed until the person has been cleared. It doesn't matter where they are coming from, just to make it legit. The laws are in place for a reason; some of them being the CDC monitoring how many people have what/in what areas, overpopulation and crowding in public schools.

Yes, they REALLY are criminals. They should be punished harshly and then deported. I don't care what they "want" as it's irrelevant to the argument. There are MANY MANY hopeful immigrants who wait patiently for years and years and years for these opportunities because the vast influx of illegals has limited legal opportunity. How is THAT fair? How is it fair to cheat these legal immigrants of the chance to come here in favor of those who ignore our laws? Where is the justice in that?

To answer your question, I not only have NO sympathy for illegal aliens under any conditions, but I actively despise them for what they are doing.

My father is Mexican. Viva Mexico!!! He had a dream of coming to the United States to work really hard so he could send money back to his family who desperately needed it. He walked 9 days from Mexico into Texas with little water and barely any food. He has worked harder than some Americans (not all) but he has never let his family down, never turned anyone away that needed his help. Raised 6 children, two who serve our country. He fulfilled his dream and it is a damn shame that people can sit in their cozy house and fancy car and with their fancy education and think that they are better than someone of a different race. My father came across illegally has since become a legal resident of the United States and has no plan of becoming a citizen and I don't blame him. I am tired of people making blanket accusations about all immigrants. To the Americans who were born and raised if it was you in their shoes you would be seeing it different. White people were not the first people here.

I believe that everyone should have the right to live in whichever country they want, whenever they want. I think that immigrants are also very important to a country because they offer cultural diversity. I do not think that immigrants should be punished for not "waiting in line". Every person regardless of their country of origin should have the right to good quality of life and they should not have to wait in line for it.
