no idea. and to be honnest I'd rather not start thinking about it, because it would drive me nuts!
See, I'm a French citizen but I've studied and worked in the US a total of 3 years - LEGALLY. I would like to come back and settle in the US, but will only do it legally. I'm upper-middle-class in France (about the same in the US) and actually have some cash that I could invest and create my own, small business. But you know what? the visa for people wishing to start a business in the US is very restrictive, and super hard to get.
Hell, people like me would not come to work at McDonald's or be on Welfare, we would be our own boss,injecting cash into the US and potentially creating jobs as well...
So, don't be surprised that it drives me crazy when I hear about all the illegals who just sneak in and take advantage of the system... How many of them? no clue, but even just one is already too much. |

Why not go back a little over 150 years ago? Then you will be able to have a better understanding of what ethnic group were "invading" which territory...
