THe entry is for maxc 90 days but remember, I resident is a person that live +180 days in a country.
And you won't be a legal resident. You can enter 90 days every 180 days. In a full year you can only stay 180 days with a 90 days interval outside.
Example, enter january 1, to march 30 (90 days), you need to get out of USA and wait to July 1st to enter again for 90 days. |

If you are talking about visa waiver, you are allowed a period of admission of 90 days on each entry. That works out to 3 or 4 admissions a year. Eventually, US immigration catches on that you are living here and you will be denied entry and not be allowed to use visa waiver. |
