Where? At home with a midwife? In a hospital? A public hospital? A private hospital?

A good private hospital will run you about 50,000 pesos if the birth is not complicated and you MUST put up the deposit in advance.... no credit.

A public hospital, with a government midwife in attendance, will set you back a couple of hundred pesos and that's just for optional pain medication you'll have to bring yourself from a pharmacy.

I'd recommend Cebu Doctors' Hospital which is associated with Cebu Doctors' University School of Medicine. It's a very good, private facility....
