a lot of it depends on where you're from and how much info you've given to them for them to observe. it varies primarily from 6 months to 1.5 years so don't hold your breath and be patient. make sure you get everything looked at by someone else when you send it and always make copies of EVERYTHING! go to http://www.uscis.gov and http://www.visajourney.com as well....hope things work out, good luck~~
