Seriously, it all depends on the type of visas. If it is employment visas, usually you would have to be at least 18. However, if it is a family sponsorship or a student visa, there is no limit. You need to contact an immigration lawyer for more specific information. The lawyer will need lots of facts to determine which application is best suitable for the person.

Well, if you mean how old do you have to be to get a tourist visa on your own, 18 or so is about right, but the younger you are the harder it is. Basically, because you have to show strong social and economic ties to your home country. That can be pretty hard for an 18 year old, much less anyone younger. But the US issues tourist visas to infants as well, but based on the parents, not the child. |
