a few suggestions,

1. marry an American. (easiest, fastest)
2.go back to whatever soviet block country she came from and enter legally.
3. buy a US passport and/or social security card (overall most cost effective)
4. wait for Obama to give permanent residency rights to illegals.

When she turns 18 she needs to go back to her own country and apply to come back here legally. At that point she is considered an adult and is accountable for her actions. After that point she is subject to deportation at any time, and will not be able to be made legal.

Tell your "friend" to go back to where ever the hell your "friend" is from and get in line and apply to come legally.

She can't.
If she is living here illegally,she cannot change her status without leaving the country. She has to return to her home country before she turns 18 1/2,if she does,her illegal status here will not be held against her since she is a minor. She can then apply to come back the proper way. If she doesn't,she is making the decision as an adult to ignore our immigration laws and can be deported and barred from returning.
I can't understand why people think they can come here illegally,break our laws every day they are here and then wonder why they can't just be handed citizenship.

* assists an alien s/he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or

* encourages that alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him or her to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or

* knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.

Penalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime. Anyone employing or contracting with an illegal alien without verifying his or her work authorization status is guilty of a misdemeanor. Aliens and employers violating immigration laws are subject to arrest, detention, and seizure of their vehicles or property. In addition, individuals or entities who engage in racketeering enterprises that commit (or conspire to commit) immigration-related felonies are subject to private civil suits for treble damages and injunctive relief.

depends on how she entered the country. if she snuck in it will be harder, if she came in on a visa and just stayed after it expired, that will help her alot. The three ways to get a visa is through marriage, but she would need to have entered legally (dosent matter if the visas expired). Second, throgh work, she needs a employer to petition for her that he wants her, this may be difficult because its a long process for the employer, but if you know someone who would, then your in luck! lastly, she can enter a lottery which she may be drawn at random for a green card. Its hard, but best of luck!
