How to get a U.S Security Clearance to find a job here in the USA?

If you're an American, you'd have to apply for a job that required a security clearance. If they wanted to hire you, then you'd have to fill out the forms and do the interviews and then wait for a decision. Depending on the level of the clearance involved, that could take quite a while. Especially now that we have a new administration that has political nominees to clear. No one's going to do a clearance on you unless they have to though. too much work, so you can't just apply for a clearance on your own.

Usually the job comes first,prior to obtaining a security clearance.
There are different types of clearances depending on the type of
job you have.There are military,government and private sector
clearances.There are government contractors that sometime require
security clearances.
