my friend is H1 visa holder,he was laid off last year,he invested a house two years ago,
now he faces dilemma:
On the one hand ,the house rental covers the mortgage payment,he need to stay here to manage it,selling it now will generate $50k debt.
on the other hand,his is out of legal immigration status,he has no chance to get another job
to support his family,he wants to go home.
many aliens face the same issue,what can he do now?do he has to file bankruptcy ,give up the house and go home?
any suggestion is highly appreciated.

he can sell the house or have someone he trust take care of it and collect the money. if it was me i'd sell the house and take as much money i get from it. |
