If she is here illegally, there is nothing you can do. She has to return to her home country to start the process.
Her chances are better if her husband applies for her. She will still have to leave the country to complete the process with a 10 year ban on returning. Her husband would then have to file a waiver to have her return. She may or may not be approved.
Either way,her husband is her best chance of ever getting legal status. |

How did your sister get to the US? Visa or "uninspected" (snuck across the border)?
What visa did she use?
Does she have a green card?
Please give us some information so we can help. Without knowing her situation no one can help you! |

I have a feeling it's not her citizenship that's holding her back, it's her. If she can't get the infinitive to even file for citizenship, I don't know any decent employer that would want someone with that low of motivation. |

Ok, she isn't a US citizen but is she a resident alien? She must be at least this if she is married and working here for 7 years. If this is the case, she should be having no problems working as she has all the same rights being a resident alien as a citizen. I believe that she can also apply for citizenship herself. My husband applied for his own.
If she is married to an American but doesn't have any papers, then I'd be worried about the status of their marriage.
Tell her to call local free legal clinics specializing in citizenship and to find out for herself. |

please ignore all the answers saying immigrants are gay, stupid and no need to get more, your sister needs to fill in the application by herself, she needs to fill in her husband's info in her application so they find out that she is married to US citizen, and in that application they will ask her when did you come here |
