I'm 23year old girl from Iran. Idont have any relatives in US but I wish to immigrate to US,what should I do?

Since most US immigrants come here as through the efforts of relatives already in the US, your chances are pretty limited, and complicated by the fact that we haven't had an embassy in Iran since 1979. There are work visas available, but you need to be hired by an employer who is willing to fill out the paperwork and you would need to be a university graduate to qualify. Applying to a university is another possibility, but expensive, and the student visa itself would not qualify you for a green card. It might lead to employment that would eventually qualify you. Then, there is the Diversity Lottery Visa, which allows foreigners who can't otherwise emigrate here legally to get a visa and green card. The chances of winning that are low, maybe 1%, but at least it costs nothing to enter and you can do it on-line.

If you were to win, you would need to go to another country to interview. Many Iranians go to the embassy in Abu Dhabi or to the consulate in Dubai. Some go to Turkey. If you did win, you would also have to find a way to buy your own airline ticket and you would need enough money to survive while trying to find work. I don't know how hard it is to migrate from another country to within the U.S, it can't be that hard because people are doing it every day. I included a link below which i hope you will find helpful. I know it's not easy to move to another country when you don't have any friends or family but people do it all the time so im sure you will succeed to. You will have to go to the immigration office in Iran and apply for a passport and visa, and see if they will let you visit and then apply for u.s. status as an immigrant and see if you can get american citizenship through , possibly the u.s. embassy...being you have no relatives it might make it harder unless you can consult a iranian c hurch here in the usa to help you get started..

uscis.gov has the options. Student visa might be easiest, unless you can get a job sponsor and an H1B when they open again in April.

If possible try to get into a college or university that has apartments on campus, that way you learn, meet people and have a place to stay. Though may be different. England you get student loans to pay rent for those, no idea in USA

Don't come here. Stay with your family in Iran. If you try to start over here, with no family or friends, it will be tough. They are tightening the immigration laws here so it will be hard for you to get a job if you are not a legal citizen. I realize things are tough in your country especially on women. Stay where you are at and work to improve the situation there.

Iran is the best country of the world; people in Iran have a rich culture and high level of wisdom. and Iran's government is the best in the world. I don't know why some people think about migration! it's the worst thing an Iranian can do. I think it's the people of other countries who should immigrte to Iran.
