I-751 End of the Line?

I finally received notice saying my I-751 (petition to remove temporary conditions) application has been approved and a new card is being issued.

It was quite a trip from the initial application. I filed in March of 2008, 90 days before my initial green card based on marriage expired.
The only thing I ever received was a biometrics notice which arrived within three weeks. Never received the receipt letter extending my status for one year.
Had to get a stamp in my passport twice to travel out of the country and each time at the airport I was taken out of the line to the immigration office to verify the validity of the stamp. But finally I received a letter with the good news in the beginning of February 2009. So it almost took a whole year to get the paperwork processed.

No interview was conducted, most likely due to the fact that we had a baby.

Some tips and pointers:
1) File within the 90 days before your initial (2 year) green card expires.
2) It is safe to travel, provided that you have the extension letter or an
I-551 stamp in your passport. You obtain this stamp at the field offices by making an Infopass appointment.
3) The processing times on the website are relatively out of date.
4) If you don't receive any receipt, check the website for case status info.
