what is unfair is that my job was under bid by a illegal immigrant and now i have no christmas for my wife and kid so hell no illegals need to be taken back if our country wises up before we are a 3rd world country maybe i can have my job back i have had many nights ive gone to bed hungry to feed my family instead of myself now that is what is unfair they illegals are worried about christmas and iam worried about eating and iam a us citizen

The law is the law. If you are illegally in the US and you are working you run the risk of being arrested and deported. It is a sad situation in these months and times and there really is no answer to illegal immigration issues. I mean, did we just wake up one morning and say "We have an immigration problem...?" No, this has been happening for years and the government has allowed it up until now.

It absolutely is fair, and what would be a good day to get caught and be deported anyway? Illegals always seem to have some excuse for not wanting to obey the law, but CHRISTMAS?! What will they think of next? Do US criminals get a break for the holidays? I don't think so! I do think the ones involved in identity theft should have to serve time before being deported. Otherwise they will just come back and do it again, and again, and again...I wonder how some of their supporters would feel if an illegal stole their identity and ruined their credit, especially during Christmas. Remember we must have compassion for our fellow humans!

My comment on this is simply to relate a news story from my area recently along similar lines. On the "Mexican protest day" back during the Summer or whenever it was when the immigrants walked off the jobs, the Tyson meat plant here let them off work and offered their "support". Big article about it here in the local papers. The Mexicans that walked off to protest were making 9 bucks an hour in the Tyson plant and Tyson stated that they "valued their workers and appreciated their contributions". Well that is just fine and dandy, until you take into account that the very same jobs that they now hold at "9 bucks an hour" were previously taken by Americans and "20 years ago" paid 19 bucks an hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this was all related in the very same news story. I think that news story spoke more about the effects if immigration than anybody could. Nobody is going to tell me that Tyson couldn't find "Americans" to work for 19 bucks an hour!!! 20 years ago there were probably lines around the block for those jobs. 20 years later I would be the first in line!!!

I pity those people! They have families to feed but the law should also be respected. They can't do anything about it. The current immigrant law is harsh even to legal immigrant workers how much more to those illegal ones. Getting the most coveted green card will now take you more than 5 years if you are lucky enough to pass USCIS scrutiny.

To answer your question: YES, IT IS FAIR!
