The solution to the illegal alien problem is squeezing the illegal population through consistent, across-the-board law enforcement to bring about an annual reduction in the illegal population rather than the annual increases we have seen for more than a decade. Over a few years, the number of illegal aliens would drop significantly, shrinking the problem from a crisis to a manageable nuisance. Remember that the purpose of immigration law enforcement is to stop illegal immigration, not persecute individuals. Illegal aliens will have to accept the consequences of their illegal actions.

You're legal because your parents are citizens of America, and, at one time, your ancestors legally came to live in America. An illegal is called so because he is not an American citizen, and has come into America without proper authorization. Once the illegal obeys immigration laws, he gets his visas, green card, citizenship,etc. He then becomes a LEGAL resident of the United States.

The part of this that really scares me is you believe what you say. When a person can't distinguish between what is lawful and what isn't their defense become "not guilty by reason of insanity". Under those conditions you are certainly "not guilty".

You aren't illegally present using benefits like schools that are very expensive and were built and funded by others for their own children when your burden on those benefits ruins them for the children of the people who are paying for them.

It depends on if you're a law abiding citizen. If so, that would be the difference. One of you are and the other isn't. Some other differences would be English language. And of course official paperwork. Do you use your own name and numbers or have you stolen someone else's identity?

Cause if your married to someone, that is a american citizen (I believe you have three years to get legal) and if you have a green card your legal also. That's the difference if your legal or not.
