As a permanent resident of the United States, you may help a relative become a lawful permanent resident based on your status. To do so, you will need to sponsor your relative and be able to prove that you have enough income or assets to support your relative(s) when they come to the United States.
You begin the process by filing Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative.
You should file I-130, I-485, I-131 and I-765 all together this will help him in getting EAD during the pendancy of your other applications. |

It's going to take a long time to qualify him for a green card. You can marry him, and file an I-130 immigrant petition for him in the F2a category, but those petitions take at least 5 years from the time they are filed before they are valid for use, or current. until that time, they don't provide any immigration benefits at all. the only way for you to speed that up would be to become a US citizen as soon as possible, as that would upgrade the petition to an IR-1 which would be valid immediately after it's approved. but unless he can find some other status that would allow him to remian in the US after you marry, he would have to leave or he'd become illegal after his current visa status expires. |

Yes you can marry him in order to file for his permanent residency here then in order to expedite the process you should file for your citizenship asap and once granted you can do an adjustment to your husband's paper work to upgrade his preference class. |
