I am Russian moving to United States so I need to know it briefly.

You first need to take USMLE step 1, 2 CK and 2 CS in order to get the ECFMG certificate, then you apply to hospital for residency positions via ERAS. You will get a number of interviews, then you put your ranking and if you are qualified and lucky enough you will get hired. It's so complicated my friend.

Yes, if you are fully qualified and can get state certification. Yes there are plenty of jobs for Doctors in the US. In fact I just happen to know a company that is always looking for ER docs to fill open positions. So you should have no problem. |

To apply work permit or Temporary Workers Visa, you need US Employer who is hiring you and willing to file Petition for you. Once the Petition is approved, then you can apply for Workers Visa at US Embassy. Also, to work as a doctor in US, you need US Certification.
