Is this process acceptable, has anyone had experience? If not, is it best to apply for K-1 here in States and go about the process this way? Also, if we decide to go the K-1 route, can he stay on vistors waiver for up to 90 days? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!!

The marriage is legal irrespective of the country in which you intend to live. He will have to apply for a citizenship of US. as a spouse of a citizen and it always takes time to complete the background check and process the paper work. |

After you marry in the UK, you will have to apply for a K3 visa for you spouse. The process takes about 10 months.
A K1 takes about 6 months and then you would marry in the US after the visa is issued.
With either option, your spouse can legally still enter the US for a VISIT while the visa is processing.

Don't take any information off Yahoo answers because most people won't know what there talking about or get the info wrong the best thing to do and get 100% proof information is go to the US embassy or get the person your going to marry to go to a British embassy |
