Hiya:
It all depends on what you want to do in Italy, dear.
If you are simply going to visit for a certain period of months (give or take, depending on the country's jurisdiction) and not get paid work in Italy (that is, you only SPEND money there), then all you need is :
- A passport.
- Proof that you have credit cards or money in your bank account.
- A return ticket.
Thats all! You're a tourist, no need for VISAs or anything like that. Punch and go.
If you're visiting only :)
If you're worried about your reintegration to the UK to continue your studies then if you have your international student applications approved and everything you only need to keep your tickets and information when you recross the border; its summer time, they get plenty of students going to their families or vacation for summer and back to class, etc. No sweat, just have source documentation at hand.

depends where you are from, but you might need a schengen visa that allows you to travel anywhere in the schengen including italy, france, germany, etc. if you are american, you can just go for 3 months, no questions asked. |
