That's already taking place, when you have racist laws, good people are not going to enforce them, and these movements are widely used. Whenever there is the danger of deportation, people can move very quickly, and every undocumented worker that respects himself has two or three ssn, a few of them valid, either from dead people or gotten used counterfeited documents...
The Mexican consulates in the different cities as well are involved in operations similar to "tamale express", and Spanish Language radio helps disseminate this information very seamlessly, since these ignorant racists refuse to learn Spanish...
I think we all should stop with the hypocrisy, the racism and push for a comprehensive immigration reform, instead of continuing playing these games... |

What about the families of the dead people that previously had those ss#'s? Don't you think that if the "new" owner of the ss# does something to cause the government (or the like) to come calling, they will have to open old wounds? And they would then want to know who had the ss# of their deceased loved one. Pretty selfish and one-way your thinking on that one, lady.
And you have watched too many movies. In this day and age, with all of the technology, it will take more than a few of your "hacker" friends to achieve your goal. When the "underground railroad" was done, they didn't have telephones, radios, cars, internet, and the like. And a lot less of the landscape was incorporated. Glamorous thought, but it won't work.
Lastly, what are you going to do when you flood this country with illegal immigrants from Mexico(from your naming of it, that is where I believe you are talking about)? Not all of them are coming her for honest reasons (and shame on you for thinking they all are). If they are poor in their country, they will more than likely be poor here, too. If a change of location was all it took to change your economic status that drastically, I would move to Beverly Hills or the Hamptons! Pretty naive thinking, I would say.

To make it feasible, I'd say only give it out to about 1,000 per state ... they will put it to good use, after all they're only poor people who want to better themselves .... and since you're a good person who has their interest at heart, you wouldn't report them for identity theft now, would you? Nahhh ... thought not ... imagine what all these poor illegals could do with your ssn ... all the stuff they could get on the credit cards ... feed their little nippers and buy a nice new car for dad ... by giving them your ssn, you've made a whole lot of illegals very happy people ... :) |

I think it would be claustrophobic underground.
And Mexico would put you in jail or deport you if you don't enter legally. They are much more efficient about such things than we are.

Why don't you go back to Mexico and fight for better living conditions with in their country. It seems all Mexicans are afraid of their own country. If they would march in the street in Mexico and refuse to work until conditions were better maybe the country would change. A better question would be, why are Mexicans afraid of their own country? |
