I am greencard holder about to citizen after 6 months. My wife is on H1B visa. I already applied for my wife o?

I am greencard holder about to citizen after 6 months. My wife is on H1B visa. I already applied for my wife on my greencard basis while she was in india. Right now she is in usa, Is there any law that my wife can change her status from h1b to green card or should i have to wait till i got my citizenship and filed I-130 for her?

It is better to wait until you become US Citizen and then file I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 all together. Once she gets the Receipt Notice of I-485, her status is Pending AOS Status and she can work on EAD once I-765 is approved. She doesn't necessarily maintain H1B from that point on.

If you already file I-130 for her as spouse of green card holder, you need to notify your change of status to US Citizen at USCIS to upgrade your wife's case accordingly once you become Citizen.

My husband is a greencard holder in USA. He has already applied for me in may 2011 and he is getting his citizenship next year (march 2012).
