I brought incomplete supporting documents to my USCIS interview, so I was asked to send in the rest.?

Does the same rule still apply for sending in photo copies only or do I send in the original? I was already interviewed and so will not be able to bring in the originals for them to check out and I do not like to prolong the process by sending in the incorrect copy. Has any one of you experienced this? Thank you once again.

My wife and I had the same problem. We asked the USCIS Agent at the end of the interview whether she wanted the originals or copies and she told us just to send in photocopies. My wife got her Green Card shortly afterwards so it definitely didn't delay anything. |

A copy can't be incorrect. If they asked you to mail it to them, they want a copy. If they asked you to go back to their office in person, they want to see the original too. |
