I came to US on H4 visa in july 2007.Applied for H1B in 2008 and got my H1b approved by company 'X'.?

since 5 months i am working for company 'X'.I didn't go for visa stamping.Now i got an option for contract to hire....can i transfer my H1b to new employer 'Y'?

What document will i need for transfer?

How much fee will it be for transfer?

Can Company 'X' create any problem?

Can i transfer my h1b without going for stamping?

You can transfer without obtaining a new visa. To do so your new
prospective employer must submit a petition (form I-129b) on your
behalf. Upon approval you will can change employers without
problems. See the immigration web site uscis.gov for the form
instructions and fees.
