I have contacts in most American cities through family and school, who can easily get me a job, I'm just wondering what is best American city to live in
my degree is in Information Technology
My father has a cousin who is an immigration lawyer in USA, I'm not worried about getting through immigration - this is about where to live

To get a great American job, stay in India. Greedy American corporations are outsourcing jobs to India and China. If you still want to move to U.S legally I'd definitely recommend that you look for a state that doesn't have income tax and has nice weather. Central and Northern Florida have very sizable cities and meet that criteria. |

I wouldn't brag about having a relative who's an immigration lawyer. The Dept of Labor is reviewing H1-B and green card labor certifications VERY carefully these days because a couple of immigration law firms were committing unethical practices at best and illegal ones at worst. A lot of would-be immigrants are finding their applications delayed because of the actions of these lawyers. |

would depend on your priorities and what you like
If you like the hot climate - then try Texas/Florida/South Cal areas
If you like the cold then check out Chicago/NY/New Jersey
If you like rain - then Oregon
I would vote for a lot of places except the Midwest
But they say if you want to save a ton of money then Midwest is pretty good, thanks to the low cost of Living |
