only if Obama wins.
Boy, I'm going to get a lot of thumbs downs for this,
w.e I have my opinions and that's why I like McCain.
Depression? please.
Obama is a socialist, only cares about certain groups of people and he will tax you dry.
Say goodbye to your hard
earned money
OHHH and all this "republicans have made everything bad", sometimes I just can't wait for Obama to be elected so that when the world crumbles, the democrats will finally have their feet shoved in their faces and republicans will have the, I told you so.
anywho =] |

Define "screwed", please.
If you think, or if anyone thinks there is any difference between McCain and Obama in their politics, there isnt, If you underestimate the religious influences that Obama will bring and whether they will usher in scarey changes to our culture, then again, you dont understand. If you think that either one of these puppets will have any influence where it really matters, then you watch too much TV, listen to too much radio and spend too much time with out thinking.
Can you define what "freedom" is? Can you identify the fear mongering that is soo prevalent in our culture, but created in our political areas .. such as the war against drugs, or that Mexicans having free reign to enter the counhtry at will is necessary to us ... ?? Do you understand that unless the American people stand up agsint a world rule and monetary system then the freedom you once knew, will be no longer. End the FED, the Federal Reserve!!! |

Yes our country has the poorest choices I have ever seen, do you want a 50# wt dropped on your foot or a 20# wt dropped on your foot, both will hurt but one will hurt less. At least McCain will appoint better judges then Obuma. |

We are in worse trouble if Obama wins. You can't turn back socialism...and I still cannot believe there are people out there that think his taxing 1 trillion dollars worth isn't going to hurt them.
If middle class America is so poor and so bad off...what makes you think the rich is so much greater? Middle class overpowers any class...so where do you think the money is going to come from?
GET REAL EVERYONE.......you are really in for a BAD recession.
Even if McCain is in...making peopel responsible is going to make matters worse....but it is the RIGHT STEP in the RIGHT direction....instead of all the social programs and giving people money they didn't earn or pay taxes on.
SMALL BUSINESSES are the backbone of this country..and they are going to fail under BO!
It will take DECADES to clean up the Carter and Clinton's messes that made the economy fall....another trademark of democrats....give give give...and never pay....well it has to fall sometime...even my 9 year old granddaughter knows that! |

We are screwed for sure if Obama wins. His win will mean a change to America that we may not be able to recover from.. a whole new socialist system.
McCain at least will be politics as we know it... he does not think the whole country is wrong and he is the only one to change it.
Obama has listened to his fans and his press for too long.. he honest to God thinks he is the Messiah sent here to save us all. Me.. I will live out of the country until such time as America becomes the America I loved as a child.
I do not want to live in a country ruled by a fascist regime. And you are kidding yourself if you think it won't be. Cant wait to see what the rich say when Obama starts spreading the wealth around... yeah right... he means the wealth of the middle class not the fat cats like him.
Middle class will disappear.. there will be the rich like him and the poor.. a two tier system. So many too blind to see. God help you all! |

True.. The problems that this country is facing are too great for one individual to solve and Congress only does something if it includes some "pork" for their respective districts. No matter who wins... they will not be able to do what they promised because their won't be any money. Neither one is willing to tell the truth. |

Overdrawn! We have a lot of of problems, but debt is our biggest. I think either Obama or McCain could govern more competently than Bush, but until we get out of the red, we're screwed. |

I believe America will do just fine with John McCain. Our economic systems are quite different than they were back in the 20's and 30's so I'm not too worried about a depression. Our economy will recover, but in the mean time it is a good idea for all of us to take a look at how we spend money, how we invest and how we save. Lots of us could do a better job!
If Obama is elected then I believe we will all be taxed to death making our government budget look better, but our personal budgets will be in deep trouble. |

I love people who complain about the candidates but who never utter a peep until election time. Let this be a lesson to you. |

If we do fall into a depression, we have one man to thank for it. Bush is the one and only President to ever push a tax cut through Congress during a time of war. And for damned good reason. Wars cost money.
Bush's cronyism, combined with the republican deregulation virus, are more responsible for this situation than any future President. I'm no genius, but I know damned good and well that someone should have seen this coming. And if Bush and the republicans wouldn't have gutted our regulatory agencies, maybe someone would have.
Supply side economics is proving to be a failure. Globalism, at all cost, is proving to be a failure. And 77% of us already realize that Bush is a complete failure. |

i wich i could tell what would come in the future...but i can't so i have to agree with you that things may not be heading in the right direction but it doesn't nessisarily mean we are "screwed" it just means we're going to have to work harder to make the world a good as it is capable of being with the help of the citizens...
btw. i know i sound like a total geek...
but dont let that fool you ;)

America is in frekin chaos. Nobody wants to believe it but we are in a depression. Have you seen the stock market lately damn, how can people say that we are not in a depression. It is due to those Republican idiots who were put in office. If McCain comes into office we are going to get much worse, because he is a republican. And then if he dies in office we are going to have a "soccer mom idiot" running the country. The only sure thing is to vote for Obama. |

I don't agree. I am very hopeful that the Obama youth will light a fire under a stagnant country and we will emerge with vitality and new ideas for the future of this country. It's most definitely time for a change in a lot of ways! |

Actually a depression is very unlikely even though things look grim. What is your economic plan miss smarty pants, I bet its good. I hope you noticed the sarcasm. |
