got a warning at US airport last time, want to go back and still ekep gc, is it better to go via canada border or fly in?
i have no supoorting evidence e.g. any documents that I live there

If you got a warning, it is most likely that you spent too much time outside the US. In that case, it won't matter whether you try to re-enter via the airport or by land.
If you feel you do indeed still maintain ties to the USA and your residence is here, then you might want to bring all supporting documents with you (driver's license, rental agreement, utility bills, etc). |

If you got a warning - next time you will lose your green card. Its impossible to leave outside the US and also keep the Green Card, they are not stupid, maybe they were stupid 15 years ago but now you can't trick them like that anymore.
So you should stay in the US until you get a US citizenship or ask for special premission to come back to your home country for the next 2 years. If you have a good reason then you could go to your home country for 2 years and come back and still mantain your green card. |

If you got the warning recently and you have already left the US, then I would say that you will probably lose your green card next time you try to cross the border. |
