I have a question about my family and getting help from the government.?

My husband has a 10 year permanent resident card. He just got it about a month ago. He used to have the 2 year permanent resident card.

I am his wife a US citizen and we have 2 children together that were born in the US. So our children are US citizens. Now my husband is going to get a job and he is going to make about 1500 dollars a month. That is not enough for a family of four.

We need help from the government but I do not know if we can do this because my husband has a 10 year permanent resident card. He is not a US citizen.

Can we get help from the government? And if we can what kind of help can we get from the governemt?

Do you remember the affidavit of support that was filed to enable your husband to come to the USA and get his green card? You need to turn to the person who filed that for him, not the government.

Any means tested government benefits your husband receives must be reimbursed by the person who filed that form for him.

I would suggest a second job for your husband and/or a job for you. That way the person who filed the affidavit of support will not have to pay.

This is the 4th time in 24 hrs you have posted this same question. No matter how many times you post it, the answer will NOT change. Yak Rider is 100% right. I had already explained the same thing to you the last time you posted this question. If you don't believe the answers you are getting either stop asking it, or call immigrations yourself for clarification.

YOU need to get a job also. You do not need help from the taxpayers if you are an able bodied adult capable of holding a job.
Whoever signed the sponsorship papers for your husband will be responsible to pay back the taxpayers for any benefits your family gets.
