I have a question about my husband and the fingerprints appointment.?

I got the notice for the fingerprints appointment.
I filed the I-751 petitions to remove the conditions on residence.
He has a 2 year green card that is going to expire in a month.
Now that he got his appointment for the fingerprints, does that mean that they got all the info that they need and that if there was any problem that they would have told us before sending the appointment for fingerprints?

Odds are it is nothing. Many of the federal agencies are back tracking since the procedures were lax for quite some time.
As long as he is clean and has nothing to hide he will be fine. They just want to ensure that they are giving a permanent card to the right person. |

He will have to go for one more interview after the fingerprinting, and they could request more documents in the meantime. Really the only time that you can be releaved is when the officer tells him "congratualtions you are permanent resident of the U.S" until then he is still under scrutiny... |

Yes, they have received all the documents you have submitted. The only thing right now is to wait for them to send you another notice in the mail. Either the 1 year extension, the 10 year card, or the dreadful RFE( Request for Evidence) letter (if you provided sufficient documents,then no worries). Hope this helps. |

Yes they must of gotten all the info you sent. Still be prepared for a LONG process. My hubby had to go to 3 fingerprint appointments and a lot more paper work. He was a permanent resident at the time going for his citizenship though. Good luck. |
