I have converted myself into christianity. Can i change my first and last name legally?

Yes you can change your first and last name if you want to. Just changing your name has nothing to do with converting to Christianity.

Hire an attorney and he/she can have your request filed with the proper authorities, court, etc. to have your name legally changed.

Christianity has nothing to do with legally changing your name, just go to the courthouse and they'll do it for you. =)

Yes. Anyone can change there name. You have to check with the court in your area or get an attorney to help with the legal end of it. Why do you want to change your name?

yeah if you are old enough and there is fee attached. At least in houston there is for name changing. Whether it is religion related or not.

Anybody can file for a name change it doesn't take the conversion
to a religion to do it. Look at Prince Nelson he changed his name into a symbol. :)

For one thing why would you want to change your name. Your name is a part of you. How would you like it if Micky Mouse was suddenly Changed to Lucky Laguna? Another thing is that why would you need to change your name if you converted to Christianity. Im a Christian and theres no law saying that if you convert you need to change your name. I would say, stick with the name you got. A person can change a name but the old one will always stick with them. Hope you figure it out. = )
