Do you know this girl or was it some email you got from someone claiming to need money for a visa to come to Canada? What you wrote sounds precisely like the advance fee fraud scams that are still circulating around the world.
I doubt you will get your money back though I would definitely try the consumer protection authorities or police. They'll probably tell you that you have lost your money as well - but maybe they can help you anyway.
I'm sorry you lost your money and your home. Do you have relatives who can help you with any kind of short term loan? |
