I just got my US citizenship last year and I am planning to file petition for my parents.?

They are both Filipinos but currently residing in Singapore and Bahrain separately. Should I still use their address in Manila, will it affect the outcome of petition. My mom is using tourist visa in Singapore and my dad has a work visa in Bahrain...i just need help...thanks

If they are only visiting not residing in Singapore, they have to have interview at her country of citizenship. Many of US Embassy doesn't accept the applications from non citizen of the country.

Check with US Embassy in Singapore if they would accept the application.

I THINK it is their citizenship, not residence that counts, but I would ask someone at uscis or the state department, to be honest.

If at all possble go with Manila. Although possible to apply using an adress in a different country it takes a lot longer and gets more complex. A consulate in one country has no way of checking paperwork from another country which means it has to gather and send the paperwork to the other country to be checked and then it is sent back and if thre is a question the US sends it to country "A" who sends it to country "B" who would return it to country "A" who would return it to the US ...
I think you can see it would make things a lot easier if you just started the whole thing in Manila.
