Someone close married a man from another country (Mexico). He is here illegally (using somebody else's social security for his employment). I told her to not marry him, but she would not listen. So they got a baby and everything was fine.
Until yesterday. He got into a bar fight, the two guys accused him of starting it and the police arrested him. They ran a background check on him and found out about the false social security number and that he was here illegally. Friday he goes in front of a judge, what can happen to him?
Can he get prison time here, or will they ship him back to Mexico? He had been here for five years already. If he goes to Mexico can he take the baby with him? Can the wife get in trouble because she knew he was illegal? (she said she will lie to the judge, but I feel he probably could see through deceptions)
Please your thoughts about what the outcome will be.

I BEGGED her to not marry the loser, but she insisted. I am GLAD he will be GONE.
And if she gets arrested, thats good news to because she is a TERRIBLE MOTHER!

Well, not only did your friend know that he was here illegally--she aided and abetted him. This is illegal and fraud towards the government, not only can her husband get jailed and deported she might also be jailed for what she got herself into--Hope it was worth it!!
Good luck to her--I do not condone this type of behavior--If you do not have the proper papers to be in this country--go on back home. |

What can happen to him? How about "What WILL happen to him?" Answer: He's going to be deported at the expense of the American taxpayer.
And, no, he WON'T be taking the baby with him, even if both the wife and he wanted him to.
Further, no, the wife is in no legal danger.

i know all about this stuff he will be deported and he can't take his wife and kid with him he will be deported beck to Mexico alone since he was the only immigrant who came here illegally from the family. |
