I lost my I-94 ...and try to go mexico?

I am korean studying in GA.
I am trying to go Mexico for spring break (in 2weeks)

but, i lost my I 94...
Is this gonna be a problem? when i go to mexico?

i heard that getting a new one's gonna cost 320 dollars
but it will take 4 weeks.

but i also heard if i go to maxico, and come back .. then i can get new one when I am entering US ..
and i think that makes sense... ?

anybody know ?

Please report to CBP on the lost of your I-94, it may cost your money, but it will save you trouble in the future.
The I-94 is a record of your entry and exit of US. Without the I-94, when you leave the country, it will show that you have not exited the country.

if you dont have the form, do NOT leave the US! They will give you problems when you try to come back. I can guarantee it.

To return from Mexico you have to show proof of citizenship, or legal residency. Without the I-94 you will encounter problems.

You could go to Mexico, just don't bring it to the attention at the border. Present your passport and walk on through or drive through. If you draw attention it will cause you drama but no real trouble, after all you lost it!!! Most times the checks are not even worth paying they wages, I have been waved on through so many times its scary.

You will need the I-94 to get back into the US and you better not go without a new one otherwise you will not be allowed back in.

you need to show something don't you? what are you going to show the fat, bold, overweight officer who by the way, strongly dislikes Asians, that you are a legal student in the USA? and are they going to approve that in lieu of the 1-94?
