I lost my foreign passport and visa inside the USA? am i screwed?

You need to contact your consulate or embassy ASAP and tell them what happened. They can get you a replacement passport, and tell you what you have to do about the visa.

That's what they're there for.

I would suggest contacting the nearest Embassy of your home country.
That would at least be a good start.

just go to the nearest embassy or consulate office of your country and apply for a replacement. You'll have to contact immigration about the visa also and let them know as soon as possible that the visa is lost.

Take responsibility, you're 18, pay the fees yourself and accept that there will be alot of paperwork to fill out. Let your Dad know, but tell him you want to take care of it yourself and be an adult and fix your own problems...he should be ok with that and you might even gain his respect for fixing your own problems that you caused.

If you are 18 you could be an adult for you country, in which case your dad has nothing to do. The consular office may reject your dad involvement unless you signed a proxy to legally represent you.

First own up and tell your dad that you lost your passport and visa and immediately report it to the police. If someone will be pretending to be you, then the police will already have been alerted. Lost identifications and travel documents should be dealt with right away. Yes, even if you are so scared to death. Things happen so deal with the consequences before things get worse.

Go to your country's nearest consulate and apply for a replacement for your lost passport.. If you do not know how to deal with the lost visa, then angry or not your dad should be able to help you in figuring things out and working it out. Inquire at the consulate where you got your visa from as to how you can replace it. Do not worry. What is the worse thing that can happen to you if you tell? Also, things you lost can be replaced. It involves a lot of work and money but hay, you are okay. The best to you.

Just contact the embassy/consulate of your home country and apply for a duplicate passport. Then contact US BCIS and apply for a duplicate visa. It's not a big deal.

Tell you father and then go to your home country's embassy and get another passport and you will have to get another visa, no worry though - you are in there computers, it will be simple but just tell that to your father ASAP so you won't ruin everything.

You need to call you foreign diplomat in the USA and see what the process is to get your papers again.I would call your folks and see if they can help.Good luck.

Not saying anything is the worst thing you can do. The more notice you give your dad, the more time he'll have to help you before it's too late. Sure, he'll be mad, but he'll be mad whenever he finds out, so you might as well get it over with. The other answers have good advice too about your embassy.
