I’m a US resindent and I need to know if I need a passport or any other documentation to visit Canada?

You just need your valid Green Card, that's it!!

Yes, bring your passport and driver's license. If you are a permanent resident, then bring your green card with you.

You need your passport and GC to prove that you are legal USA resident.

You do not say whether or not you are a US citizen. if you are a US citizen, you do not need your passport if you are crossing by land and will return by the end of May. Otherwise you will need a passport.

A passport or a "enhanced drivers license" will do. Not sure where you are from, but you can get an "enhanced drivers license if you live in NY State. Have a nice visit to Canada and a wonderful weekend.

Yes. They have gotten pretty tight at the border. I always bring my driver's license, passport and birth certificate.

I think a passport is required these days. Whether it is or not, you should probably get one before the government decides to make the process cost more (to help pay for Obama's spending spree).

No, you do not, but, unless you plan to stay in Canada you will need a passport and a US visa to return to the USA..
