My family can't help me. His family can't help him neither. He doesn't have good credit. I have no credit whatsoever, I can't work. We were thinking of American General Loans... Any ideas that won't charge us 25% interest rate? Thanks.

Why just $1365? How about work permit fee?
You can save a bunch of money with doctor's visit if you have your old baby book with the document/record of immunizations. It is Latin so here can be used.

If you don't even have the money for that, how do you expect your sponsor (your husband?) could fulfill his sponsorship requirements (income at or greater than 125% of poverty level)?
If he just started working at a new place, he should have tax returns and stuff from previous jobs. Also, don't forget that with _three_ persons living in your household, the required amount increases, too.
Don't go for any of those loan places They'll rob you blind and starting this with a whole lot of debt is the worst way you could start out with this phase of your life. Sell all your stuff, if you must. Surely there's some things with an accumulated value of $1,400.

Please start to plan ahead for your further future. I mean this all didn't come as a surprise to y'all, did it? You didn't meet just yesterday, I assume. You couldn't have possibly waited procreating until /after/ you've gotten all your ducks in a row? You couldn't have possibly saved up some money in all the time you've known each other and planned to do this?
