I need your OPINION!!!?

So why is everyone stating "OUR" country. All our ancestors brought us over here. We all are just as illegel as the people coming over here now. This country belongs to the Indians.
Everyone seems to forget that. Why is it okay for us "American" to move to other countries, but other people can't move to "OUR" country and make a better life for themselves and their family. Yeah a lot of them are here "illegally" cause our goverment has made it harder for them to get permanent residency or citizenship.

Everyone that is giving me their opinion is great. I see everyone has a different opinion. Thats what makes us all unique. Okay "Natives" not indians. I was born here just like a lot you giving your opinion. Lot of you dont seem to understand what im trying to say here, bout the "illegals". There are so many here and under the laws of the USA are that way. Goverment keeps rasing the cost for people to be here legally & thats why we have so many that are illegal. I know a lot of people that are here illegally and want to make it right, but the cost is so expensive for them not to be able to do it. My family came from another country and became legel to, just back then it wasnt so expensive and so hard to do it. Think if they didnt come that you would be born where their from and some of you would be here illegally too or either trying to come here and having a better life.

I was born on this soil, under the government of the United States. It IS my home, it IS my country, and I have a vested interest in its well-being. This is my home.

We have legal channels for people who want to come here. It is not easy, it is limited, but that is for many reasons. The processes protect the country, the citizens, AND the legal immigrants.

Indians actually, Native Americans got here by migrating here a long, long time ago. So, at one point there were no people on this continent. I guess by your logic we should all pack up and move off this place then.

Yes our government has made it harder for them to come here legally. The person who tries to do it legally gets screwed because we have too many illegals. The idea behind immigration laws is to allow all people of good morals an equal chance to immigrate. When you have millions of illegals there are less opportunities for legal immigration. So it becomes a vicious circle. The government isn't really making it harder to immigrate it's the illegals.

This is our country my ancestors immigrated to this country. They applied and processed through immigrations. My wife is a naturalized citizen who applied for entry, whent to school, learned the laungue, tested, and swore an oath.

I have fought on the battle field for this country on two different occasions and take exception on others wanting to give it away. Yes we can move to other countries if we comply with their laws. Try to live in Mexcio without a proper visa. They will deport you very fast and they won't provide you with a laywer.

Wher do you think the indians got this country they assumed it.

The US is my country because I was born here and so were my parents. Illegal aliens should be deported ASAP. You cannot justify having hordes of illegal aliens invading and occupying our country with that idiotic, "every American is an immigrant BS!" Americans were not Americans when they got here. They fought for it and won and named the country, etc. (seriously...read a book!)
All countries have laws. All countries change their laws. They do so as other changes happen. Is that really difficult for you to understand? It used to be AGAINST THE LAW for blacks and women to vote. What would you say if AMERICANS had not changed that. 1870 - BLACK MEN GOT THE VOTE, 1920 - WOMEN GOT THE VOTE.

You are absolutely right. We should all go back to where we came from. Problem is that not to many of us can trace our heritage to that "starting point". It's our country because we fought for it, won it, set it up and have maintained it with the money we work to make. The Indians came here form other continents just like we did. We have made it harder to get into our country legally because most of the people coming over here are making a better life for themselves by mooching off of our government welfare system. If you think you are here illegally then leave. It sure won't hurt my feelings.
