I think i have a child from many years ago how do i go about finding this child? I live in Canada?

She may have gotten married and taken another name and so you might have better luck finding one of her family members -- like a parent or brother.

If she had a particular interest, you might be able to track her through an association or organization. If you know where she may have gone to high school, you could see if the library has old yearbooks. Often, the yearbook of a senior would say where the student was going on to post-secondary education. Knowing this, you could try to contact her through the school's alumni association. Sometimes the alumni association will contact the person on your behalf if you cannot directly.

Try searching MySpace and Facebook. She might belong to a certain network.

Try http://www.spokeo.com/ or http://www.pipl.com or http://www.cvgadget.com

And then there's classmates.ca

You could also hire a Private Investigator.

One other thing, if you use the reverse look-up on http://www.whitepages.ca and then click "listing details," you will find a link called "find neighbours." You could try contacting a former neighbour to get information. City directories work in the same way -- you can look up the address and get the neighbours.

Sounds like the first thing to do would a search of birth records to see if a child was born to the person you are thinking about. Go to the website of the registratar of births in the area in which she was living and check their policies. They may not release any information to you if you are not related to her or listed as the father on the birth certificate.
Next would be contacting neigbours and friends of hers from that time to see what any of them can tell you. You will need to go to the area in person, I don't think you can get any answers over the phone

if you have a child you dont just sit back and wait for something to happen you have to fight to find her if you reallly luv her and you shouldnt depend on yahooo answer to find that out

you can sumit some info about her on yahoo people search then they will give you all the names that match but this does have a fee to get more info. but its an exellent chance on finding your child if you have full name of the mother and about what area (state) she atleast resided in last to your knowlede.
