I turn 18, my parents are immigrants how do I make them residents?

My parents are not living in this country. They had me in this country but we went back to mexico when I was six months old. I came back to this country when I was ten. I visit them often in Mexico. I have heard I can apply for some sort of residency. I was born in the US and my daughter was too as well. They came illegally 18 years ago would that affect the process. Is there a faster way to do it. My parents are old and I wan to have them by my side. Should I hired a immigration attorney or just wait until I turn 21 to begin the process?

While the others are correct, you do need to be an American citizen before you turn 21. Once you do, you'll need to file I-130 petitions for them.

Edit: an attorney can't change immigration law for you, he can just try to interpret it as far as possible to help you. But unless the law changes or your parents become eligible for something else, you're in for a wait.

Get an attorney involved. You do have to be 21 before you sponsor them and have to be able to prove you are financially able to support them in every way via several years of tax returns.

If they are illegal you don't. You might be able to sponsor them at 21 but not now. They should return and do things properly or get ready to be deported.
