Your 18, you have the right to move here and they cant say anything, if they do you can arrest them by United States policies, so just like call the cops and get your things and move back.

Get a job when you get here? Hon, there's teens HERE who can't find work....in this modernized world, it's MUCH harder to live when you're 18, than it used to be...

You should not leave if you have no place to stay and no job. Try going to college or maybe join a non-profit organization like AmeriCorps to get back to the States. This way you will have room and board. First apply and make sure you get accepted. If you are, then tell your parents that you want to go because you want to gain experience and do something productive.

I say, "Go for it!" Sometimes you just have to go out and chase your dreams. Please be sure that you are prepared for a lot of hard work and difficulty because it is very challenging to be on your own and support yourself when you are so young.

If you are 18 there is little your parents can do to prevent you from going back if you are an American citizen. Seek out the United States Embassy in your country and ask them what you can do before you do anything else. Someone there can help you make good decisions.

Hi Raphy,why not be honest with your parents and tell them you are very unhappy in Jamaica and want to go back to America to live,say they will not need to worry as you have somewhere to live until you can find work,tell them all the positive reasons why you want to go back.If they disagree then i would suggest that for a while you don`t mention it let things die down a bit and don`t give them any reason so suspect you are trying to move,let them think you have given up on the idea.It may take a few more months but if it means getting away then it is worth the wait.You don`t say if you have a job at the moment ? if you do then use the time to save some money if possible,then you can start to plan your move.There must be odd times when both parents are out of the house ,so that's when you get your passport,and air ticket,and hopefully your freedom.Once you have settled you can call your parents and say that you will not be coming back.I hope the terrorist bit is just a metaphor? if so i wish you all the best for your future.Take care OK .xx

well first of your 18 all you gotto do is get your passport and buy a plane ticket and that it. think about it really good moving on your own is not easy trust me specially since your parent wil be far away.
but for some reason i think your are making this up but if you not that all you got to do.

well if you have money and u really want 2, then get an apartmant buy or rent get a better job that pays more 4 rent so you can possibly still use money to go places and buy food

um so you know your 18, you can sue your parents for not letting you leave a country, ur an adult, just move back, like I said, if ur parents do anything to stop you, you can take them to court.

running away will cause more problems not only for your parents but for you too. you are only 18 and you have long ways to enjoy life. coming to usa is not going to solve your problem. you have to face it, put up with it and work hard and the results will be good.
so my advice is stay put and think positive in every way.
